NOT ABLE TO INSTALL MY HP ALL-IN-ONE F380 IN WINDOWS8DELL LAPTOP WITH THE DRIVER CD OF THE PRINTER (MAKE 26)?

EARLIER IT WAS INSTALLED IN MY P-IV PC WINDOWS XP. SINCE I PURCHASED WIN8 DELL LAPTOP I AM NOT ABLE TO INSTALL THIS PRINTER. ANY WAY OUT?

    Do not let your cd auto start Browse the disc in file manager. Drag driver folder on to desktop.

    This works about 50% of the time.

    Its good when a Linux man answers windoze questions

  • Just select windows 8 and download the drivers from HP

  • You need to ‘CONFIGURE’ your printer in windows 8,to do so –

    GO TO START -> DEVICES & PRINTERS -> Upper left corner you will see ‘ADD PRINTER’ Click it & follow process & choose your printer from list complete process;then you will be able to install printer

    driver.
