Hi, I’m 17, and I’m wondering if I astral projected that night…I only want answers from Hindus who know about astral projection as it says in Hinduism.
So this happened about 2 and a half years ago, when I had just returned from my home/mother country to the foreign country where I live. I hate the country where I live and for some reason, I am EXTREMELY devoted and patriotic to my home country. I had always dreamed of going their to live forever, so when I went during my summer vacation and had to return, from extremely deep within, I did NOT want to leave my home country and I NEVER wanted to go back to the foreign country. But I had no say and was forced to leave and return to the foreign country. I fell sick when I returned from the stress and EXTREME deep yearning and restlessness of being in my country, my home country, it’s like there was this pull that I had to be there only.
So I went, maybe after 3 days after coming back, to sleep in my room alone which I didn’t used to do before (I used to sleep with my sister or someone) but I wanted to be all by myself after returning from my mother country.
So I had this dream, I don’t quite remember but there was like a long hallway, and a series of dressing tables against the wall in the hallway, all leading to one dressing table where apparently I was standing; but somehow, I wasn’t really supposed to be a human…or I was a human but I felt extremely light in my dream and I was combing my hair and I was extremely sad and wanting to leave the world and just depart away. So in my dream I turned around as if I, the soul, will now leave my body and fly up, and just then I woke up and my entire body was tingling and it felt like this tinglyness crept up me from my feet all the way to my head, and I felt really really light and weird somehow, and faintish, and sort of detached from the surroundings, although at the time I awoke I was in my body. Usually after waking up from a creepy dream like that I would be really scared, I would jerk up, or try to go to another room with someone, but there was this weird calmness and although I felt creeped I was absolutely still and non-caring somehow, and instead of even moving a bit, I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep again. There was no reaction to this strange nightmarish dream.
Was I astral projecting? Had I, the soul, left my body to try to get back to my home country? Because this was such a high level of extreme attachment to my home country, which I will now reveal is India, such extreeeemmme anxiousness to leave and go there. Thanks.

I astral project alot so this is coming fro experiance. Sorry no it sounds like you were having a normal dream. BUT at the same time when you woke up and were tingling MAYBE at that time you were attempting to go astral and woke before it finished sorta thing. the first part was a dream though..sorry

No, as you said, it was a dream. There is no such thing as astral projection, only fibbers that claim to do it.
Seeing as you continually describe this experience as a dream I’d say it was a dream.
People can’t literally leave their body and go anywhere, Hindu or not.
