Why is it papers print whatever crap they like and the public (most of them) believe it?
This latest milk scandal is really annoying me. The supermarkets and processing units have found to be allegedley overcharging the public at least p per litre. Great, about time they were stopped.
But what really pissed me off is that the newspapers then went on to say so are the farmers!!!! – they state that it costs the farmer, p per litre to produce milk and we sell it for p – does it hell, it costs between – p per litre !!! and that is truthfully – we are lucky as we are on a good contract and can achieve around – p per litre – which keeps us afloat!!!

You can rant any time you like – we all forget about the farmers and people that work their asses off for hardly anything in return whilst the big boys rake it in.
Most people don’t believe a word papers say these days anyway.
If you sold it at cost, there wouldn’t be a lot of incentive to stay in business. Also the public has to pay (through increased costs) a lot of middlemen, and the farmers don’t see that money.
I agree. I am from the US but I think the same problem is pretty much world wide. You can throw TV news in with the papers. Have another star.
Don’t read the Daily Mail or any red tops. They are as much use as comics.
