  • If you want to try to qualify, how would you qualify if you lie about what you may have or have or haven’t tried?? I know OCD people who have jobs(even manager jobs) and the government is being a lot less lenient on those applying. I guess if your therapist would recommend it,you might try but without doing what he/she recommends (meds) chances are they won’t.

  • it’s always lack of understanding. it is surprising what number of human beings don’t comprehend that not all disabilities are seen. Many varieties of actual disabilities are invisible to the bare eye and of direction many psychological disabilities are besides. additionally, because of the fact some disabilities are greater obtrusive and visual than others, human beings tend to immediately undergo in techniques first those they actually SEE now and returned. they now and returned see human beings in wheelchairs, amputees or blind human beings as an occasion, so i assume it is organic that they are evoked lots much less complicated than disabilities like discomfort, psychological ailments, learning disabilities and different invisible disabilities.

  • First of all people who are Truly disabled and on disability are NOT freeloaders. Only you can answer that question , if you cannot work a substantial gainful activity and your condition is severe & long lasting you can apply for disability . It can take years to qualify so be prepared to take care of yourself financially while going through the process. Social Security could deny you on the basis of you not taking medication to help yourself get better.

  • Therapy and medication first.

Disability will deny you right away if you have not even tried meds.

If meds dont work you might have a slim chance
