Should I play football?

This will be my freshman season, I don’t really want to play this year, but a part of me really wants to. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. I would like to not play and focus on baseball, and school. I’m 5″10, 2 lbs, and muscular but I don’t even like playing football. My passion is baseball, and it’s the only sport I see myself playing in the future. I would like to not have to worry about football for my first year of high school, but I just don’t know what to do. If anyone can help, please do!!!

  • Do what you want. It sounds pretty clear to me that you just want to play baseball. Don’t worry about what other people think and make your own choices. If baseball is your passion then play baseball. Up to you, but it sounds like you made up your mind.

  • If you are really only into Baseball, then don’t waste your time. If you want to explore different opportunities, then try football, it is better to try it freshman year the decide in Sophomore or Junior that you want to play, as football is all about the basic knowledge you learn in the beginning.

  • Honestly I think you should do it for your first year to see if you want to do it. And it shouldn’t interfere with baseball. You’ll have plenty of time to practice after the season is over.

  • I can help you

Quit whining about it and go back to playing baseball. No one wants a whiner on their team.
