SHOULD I SHORTEN MY SNOOKER CUE?

I have purchased a Snooker Cue which is rather long.
It’s generally recommended that a Cue Tip should be level with the player’s shoulder, so should I shorten it?

Yes, If it feels awkward, shorten it! If it’s a good quality cue, it should have a 2-3 inch extension, take this off, and reattach the rest.
