  • NOT CRAZY! Personally I would try to lose weight before instead of after. It is harder to lose larger amounts at one time. I suggest the book “Diet Docs” Someone suggested it to me and I lost 17 pounds in 2 months (I’m trying to conceive myself and trying to be as healthy as possible). My mom lost 25 pounds and the list keeps going lol. Also, if you exercise along with what the book recommends you will lose more. The book actually doesn’t tell you to go on some crazy diet and starve yourself….don’t know about you, but I like to eat lol. It simply tells you the kinds of foods to eat together to make your metabolism work for you instead of against you. YOU CAN EAT NORMAL FOODS!!

Hope this works…and good luck on baby #2!!

  • If you are ready to have another child now, go for it. Just be sure to gain at a rate that is healthy for you. The only thing I can think of, is it might take a bit longer to conceive, and there is a possibility of more risks IF you are at an unhealthy weight. If you are worried about your weight being an issue, ask your doctor if s/he thinks it is a good time for you to become pregnant. Good luck!

  • I hear ya! I’m still holding onto “baby weight” so -to- speak… for the past 2 years!! Although i was pregnant for the 4th time 9 months ago, gained 10 lbs, then lost that baby at 11 wks (2nd miscarriage in 2 yrs.) , so needless to say i have much added weight that i didn’t want but its not stopping me from trying again, been at it for 8 months now!!

Do what feels right to you! Good luck!!

  • I hear ya. I had 2 kids in 2 years. I’m thinking of a third soon. Although I want to get rid of some weight first. I just think it will be easier to get rid of this weight first rather than later. Although to some this may sound ridiculous because we’d just be putting more weight back on. But I think it would be better, health wise, and easier later. I’m about 25lbs. heavier than I was before having kids and I just don’t think its healthy. Good luck.

  • get in the habit of a good work out not an intense work out but one that you know that you will be able to pick back up after you have the baby

  • start excercising and eating healthy and everything and start to try and continue eating healthy and excercise
