Many times in the past people have been stripped of their acquired citizenship. A lot of mafioso had this done to them.

That’s a legal process initiated by CIS, but it’s probably not worth the effort. If he is not executed he will be spending the rest of his life in an American prison so his immigration status doesn’t really matter.
