I am going to sell some of my stuff on a facebook page. This will be my first time. What do I need to know?

Your goal is to describe the items so well (and so completely) that you don’t have to field many calls asking for an explanation.
Put in the best photos you can take.
Put a clear price next to every item. Don’t make people guess the price.
You will get responses from many wonderful people. But there will be some spammers and scammers who will give you a “song and dance” about how they are in London this week so they need you to ship the item…. etc. etc.
It will sell fast on Craigslist, too.
Do you go to a party to buy stuff or make friends?
Facebook is a place to socialize and build relationships with your prospects/clients. To keep them updated on your promos or product updates. I believe you must have a proper webpage to do your sales there and to create a professional image.
Try not to sell on Facebook. Build relationships there.
You will want to advertise you page. I use www.bestpromotional.com. Also I would suggest making your own website if you create one on www.bluehost.com you can get a free shopping cart website template included!
