We have a very young child. He’s only in first grade and very shy and we want to get him involved in activities.
We’re thinking soccer, but we have no idea where to begin. Definitely not in a league since he knows nothing about soccer yet. Any suggestions for camps, or some sort of program that will teach him the absolute basics? We want to let him make some friends, and be more physically active. We’re located near the Atlanta-Metro area, so we’d like something that’s nearby.

Check parks and recreation… also maybe offer to pay a neighbors kid or something who plays well to teach him? You can also teach him a little bit yourself, just basic things like dribbling and kicking and stopping the ball. Practice at a park
usually community centers have soccor for younger kids!
