Stop person for using a Yahoo mail address to order items to my wife in her name. This is identity theft.?

My wife is getting many shipments with magazines and all kind of pills in the mail with the bill for this items. The one that has order all this items has a Yahoo mail address, but I can’t get an answer from Yahoo when I try to get them to stop this person from ordering more stuff in my wife’s name.

It’s items for almost 1 USD.

How can we stop this person from order more items from his Yahoo account when Yahoo does not answer?

Update:

The problem is that my wife has never had a Yahoo account.

The items that is ordered is something that everybody over the age of 18 can order.

And there is no credit card because the bill come with the item.

And we have to call the company’s that has shipped the items and tell them to blacklist my wife’s name or the email address that is used.

I have sent three emails to Yahoo about the problem but not received an answer.

I live in Norway and I will take this to the Police if Yahoo don’t stop this person that order items in others names.

  • Go straight to the POlice and launch a complaint with them. Yahoo should also be able to shutdown the e-mail, I’m surprised that they havent already

  • If they are able to order items and send them to your house, they have much more information than that. You need to contact whatever accounts and tell them this is a fraud. They will walk you through the steps. If this is coming to a credit card or checking account, your bank may have to freeze the account until it’s worked itself out. This person is obviously doing this out of spite for something. Change all passwords, account security settings, etc. If it cannot be solved elsewhere, you need to contact the police. This is a federal crime.

  • Uh, there are quite a few themes you’re mixing up right here. Strictly talking, except they remarried, then they don’t seem to be at present married. this is authentic. besides the incontrovertible fact that, it incredibly is not any longer your interest to run around correcting what anybody else says. neither is it any of your employer no rely if or no longer they marry. As on your thoughts, why make your self unhappy over some thing that has no longer something to do with you?

  • So has your wife had a yahoo account hacked?

I can’t see how they got hold of her name and address otherwise. All you can do is write back to this companies and explain you have not ordered these items

  • Cancel the account and make a new one emails suck like that :/ there’s not much you can do about it
