Tattoo information needed!?

Yesterday I went to the tatoo place and got a black tatoo on my upper arm. They just gave me a card that needed to be way more specific. It hasn’t hurt at all today and it still looks brand new. I just started (after using basic stuff yesterday) using tatoo goo: my plan is to wash with the cleaner, pay dry wait 5 minutes then put on the lotion. I do that 3 times a day. So my question is should it be really soar or itch at all or even scab? And is my approach good?

  • When I got my tattoo it was a little sore and it did itch as well as scab. And your method it good but tattoo goo does not work as well as coco butter so you should buy some of that, you can get it at any drug store. And make sure not to scratch it or try to pick at the scab otherwise you could mess up the tattoo.
  • Your tattoo wont start to itch until a couple of days, (when it starts to heal)

You should put lotion on it more that 3 times a day, you should put lotion on it every times it starts to feel dry for the best outcome of the tattoo. Wash it morning and night and put lotion on it then as well and you should be fine! And no perfume lotions! And no scratching when it starts to heal.

  • Soreness and itching is normal. It can scab but you don’t want it to-when scabs fall off color goes with. So use your goo religiously, don’t let it dry out. Your plan is a little harsh-you don’t need to wash it 3 times a day, just once when you shower is fine. But keep the cream on it.
And for future reference, IDK how much that stuff costs, but generic A&D ointment is probably cheaper and works just as well.
