Okay so I know you can tattoo over a normal skin level scar, but my problem is I have a pretty big lifted scar on the inside of my arm. When I was younger I was quite stupid and I held a lighter on my arm for a smiley but it didn’t turn out in a smiley form its all messed up and from picking the scab multiple times it turned into a lifted scar its pretty big and no matter what I try I can’t get it to lower. I was wondering if it would be possible to get it tattooed over?

Yup I have tattoos over big scars it just hurts more on the scar
