The model of the camera is ADVENT
and I know it has something to do with updating the drivers for the webcam.
but I have absolutely no idea how or where to get them?
help me out someone? I would be extremely greatful cheers =]

Well like allot of companies Advent don’t actually make this device but buy it from a 3rd party manufacturer and their driver is the one supplied on the cd. Here is a forum that talks about the Advent webcam.

I ran into a similar problem with an off the wall brand webcam and the only easy real solution I found was to actually go out and buy a new one made by Microsoft or Logitec or other brand name. Sorry to say the old webcams have issues with newer operating systems because the manufactures only support them for a short period of time.
