  • First of all, none of you know if he will or will not be able to afford it. There are many ways to make things cheaper. After initial costs when you first start, I play for $45 for 5 hours of play 2-3 times a week.

You should definitely do a ton of research before you buy anything. In short…

    1. MOST IMPORTANT: Make sure your mask is thermal.

    2. Don’t skimp out when purchasing your first marker, you’ll end up throwing money at it for nothing if you buy a cheap marker.

    3. Make friends at the field, get to know the refs / owner / etc. and just have fun.

  • Like Chicken Legs said, go rent gear at a local (or the nearest) paintball field. You’ll learn all the major things you need to know there.

  • Dont listen to those first two idiots.

Just start out by going to the Paintball field near you and rent their equipment and hang out with other paintballers.

Youll learn alot by doing that and couple of times.

Ask questions to the experienced paintballers only! Dont get the opinion of other newbies. They have no idea what they are talking about.

  • I agree with him above it is a very expensive sport and make sure you know what your buying before you buy it, look up reviews, ask questions, ask owners, etc. Dont buy things such as an ion that you will have to upgrade in the future.

  • You won’t be able to afford it
