Some nursing homes do have state approved nurse aide training in the nursing home. Some will hire nurse aides and allow them to get their CNA training as an employee. There is no cost to the employee because the state reimburses the nursing home. Many states have directories on their website that lists the state approved nurse aide training sites, which will include nursing homes. You may want to try googling your state name and add in state nurse aide training approved programs.
