The CNA class at Omega lasts for 105 hours. 30 of which are classroom based and 75 are clinical. The program covers many topics such as body mechanics, safety of residents, introduction to long term care and cognitive impairment. You are required to pass a basic math and english exam (by 80%) as well as come out clean on a criminal background check. if you’re working somewhere or are busy during weekdays, it will be very convenient to attend classes at Omega since their course is taught only on weekends and lasts for the duration of 7 weeks.
