Wendy's didn't give me a smaller salad fork with my side salad. Is it worth going back and complaining?

Morally, yes. You should go and ask them if they were raised by wolves. And then find a new packaged salad outlet. Might I suggest Starbucks? No one makes salad quite like a barista.

Let me tell you what happened to ME. True story.

I went through the drive thru at about 11 at night. They DID NOT USE THE ORDER CONFIRMATION SCREEN. They did not even repeat my order back to me or tell me my total. They just told me to pull up.

When I got to the window, they told me my total. It was WRONG. I said, “Shouldn’t my order have been six dollars and change, rather than seven dollars and change?” They said, “No. You’re thinking of the No. 3; not the No. 2 combo.”

Oh, hold on a minute, Jack. I’ve HAD the number two combo before! I don’t think so!

So they give me my food, and I immediately pull around to the order box, and the idiot says, “May I help you?” And I say, “uh, actually, you just did. And you charged me for the wrong meal.” And they said, “Oh, but you got the triple…NOt the double…”

Ah, well…If I paid for the triple and I got the triple, I guess it wasn’t worth worrying about. Right?

Well, guess what? I got home and IT WAS THE DOUBLE!!!!

ARRRGHHH!!!!

LYING SONS OF BITCHEZ!!!! They stole EIGHTY CENTS FROM ME!

And seeing as they’re not using the order confirmation screen, they’re probably not even ringing any of those sales in. Just taking people’s cash and pocketing it; ripping me AND their employer off!!

I think you should go in there, cause a scene and demand your salad for free! I personally have never heard tell of such a display of incompetence. You’d think the workers were being paid minimum wage or something.
