doing a project for school to see what is the average age that people get married….the more questions i get from here the less i need from randoms everywhere else so thank you to anyone who answers 🙂

Most of my friends married between the ages of 25 and 30.
The average age is 25.6 for women and 27.7 for men in the United States.
My bf and I have talked about marriage a lot recently. His mom was 18 when she got married, first of 4 kids at 19. His sister was 18, just had her 3rd kid at 30, Sister in law was 19 or 20. My mom was 28, dad was 33. (These are all first marriage ages) I am currently 19, plan on being 21 or 22 when we get married

Most of my friends are getting married around now, so around 25 years old.
Although, if you are looking for data for a school project, there should be surveys done on mean marriage ages for each state, or even for different countries. Having a look at these statistics will give you the most accurate guide to when people are actually getting married.

We are getting married in June and I will be 24 and my fiance will be 25. Most of the others that I know who are married were between the ages of 20 and 30 when they got married.
