I’m looking for some dresses or tops and what not to wear clubbing. Does anyone know of any good, preferably cheap, stores like this near Oakville or Toronto? Thanks! 🙂

Ya-Ya has some reasonable priced dresses and also perfect for clubbing but if you do wanna save some money then stores like Urban behavior, Sirens, Limite, are good as well. You can find most of these stores in either york dale, vaughan mills, or fair view mall.

Jim B’s answer was very good. I’ll echo the other comments: from downtown, minutes doesn’t even get you to the edge of the city, even at non rush hour times, let alone outside of it! As noted, the downtown hotels can be pretty expensive. There is a motel “strip” of sorts along Kingston Avenue (Highway ) heading east of the city. These are places with parking, and are the typical one or two story motel you can often find more on the outskirts of cities, or in smaller towns. This is still well within Toronto, and there is public transit to get to downtown. Probably min to an hour by bus; maybe minutes driving. It is tough to predict; there is a LOT of traffic in Toronto. The that goes through the north part of the city is lanes in each direction, with or so feeder lanes outside of that. The is a parallel highway, and even with those, it is still a good hour drive to cross the city.
