I love words and the imagery they create, and have been an avid collector of quotes and phrases for a long time now. So, I thought I would try my hand at making up a quote for myself, something that gives me an positive message, but my imagination can sometimes get ahead of me. I was wondering what others thought about what I have came up with so far. There’s two variations:
“We all need an anchor to cling to in the storm and a light, resplendent and luminous, to blaze fiercely in the darkest of nights”
“We all need an anchor to cling to through the storm, a true north to guide us home and a light, resplendent and luminous, to blaze fiercely in the darkest of nights”
So what do you think, what kind of image do they conjure up in your mind?
Also, if you have any nice quotes that you’d like to share with me, please do, I’m forever looking to expand my collection!
