  • B.S stands for Bachelor’s of Science degree.

At university you have two different types of degrees a B.A which stands for Bachelor’s of Art and a B.S which is a Bachelor’s of Science.

In your situation the university you are applying, their entry requirement state that you need to have a Bachelor’s of Science in an engineering degree that is recognised or you need the equivalent which is accepted and recognised by the university.

    Good luck xoxo

  • Bachelor of Science. A Bachelors degree is usually granted after a 4 year course of studies. There is also a Bachelor of Arts. Usually the determining factor in whether Science or Art is earned is the general field of study. Art is usually in the Liberal Arts, Humanities, Art (!), Languages, etc. Science in more technical fields, Science(!), Engineering, Math, etc. Art often requires a foreign language, Science, labs or practical courses and more math. In some fields, Humanities, architecture, education, psychology and others, Art or Science may be offered Sometimes the degree earned depends on the minor. Bachelor of Education with English minor may be Art, with Chemistry minor Science. It also depends on the college, now a days there really might not be much diff. in requirements for either degree.
