I walked in today to sign up for some volunteer community service and the man at the desk asked me who’s making me do it and I said myself. Then he said oh . Idolizing yourself. After that I was just like what Lol . What does it mean to idolize yourself? Is it bad?

  • If you idolize yourself you think you are wonderful, or you worship yourself. It was incredibly rude of the man to say that, especially if he is looking for recruits for community service – it’s hardly the way to go about it. Perhaps he thought you seemed pleased with yourself.
