See my bf plays soccer for the city u14 I think. It’s a Mexico boy that everyone does not like. So here’s what happen my bf was running with the ball and the Mexico boys just takes both hands and push on the back of my bf head and the ball goes out. So my bf got Mad because the referees never say noting to the Mexico boy or card him. So my bf just turned around punch him in the face. Then like people break it up and my bf got a red card so did the other boy. So what happens when u get a red card? P.S. the Mexico likes push people and fall by his self then play dumb and everybody looks at him dumb for doing that

A red card for striking (hitting) an opponent will likely get him a 2 game minimum suspension. The league decides these things based on the referee’s report and any history he may have of these things.
Your bf needs to be smart. His opponent accomplished exactly what he was trying to do. He made your bf mad, got him thrown out, and didn’t get in trouble himself. I’m impressed by this.

I’m sorry but your question was difficult to understand, but I can answer it. A red card, or penalty card, is given when a player shows serious foul play( such as your boyfriend punching him in the face) or anything that counts as a violence act. The player that receives the red card usually is suspended from the game. Yes I can agree with your boyfriend that the player that pushed him on the head should have received a yellow card. That is the refs fault. Other than these things, the Spanish boys ( not Mexico boys) are not “dumb”.
