What is a good place to sell something where you dont have to pay money to list it?

I dont want to list my item on ebay because they take a certain percentage of how much i sell. Can I MAIL something that i sell on craig’s list? (i dont want to meet someone somewhere to exchange the item…i dont feel comfortable doing that) What is a good, popular website that i could list my item on for free?

  • Sure, Ebay deducts a small percentage as a fee. But do remember that this is the biggest market website where thousands of products are changing hands everyday.

If you do prefer to list in any other websites where they may not deduct fee, you may end up waiting for a long time.

Time is Money, so I suggest you go ahead and list in Ebay!!!

  • I felt the exact same way and my daughter did come a week early and we thought we didn’t have enough but we ended up having too much! Just think about what you will need the first few days and make sure you think about how you will be getting too and from the hospital, make sure you put a carseat in the car you will be taking home, that one is a biggie, also diapers are obviously something you will need, if you are going to breastfeed get boob pads and if not get bottles and formula, have a few outfits in different sizes and for different temperatures, my daughter was born in july and wore nothing but onzies every day! It will be okay, really! My daughter never even slept in her bassinet we bought and rarely slept in her crib lol.

  • I would find some industry specific websites that have forums attached to them. For instance, I was looking to sell softball bats and hunting equipment that I owned, and the best places for me to sell those were at the top websites in that field. I found softballfans.com for the softball equipment and huntingtrades.com for the hunting gear.

Use Yahoo and search for your category and “forums” and you might find a forum that has a buy/sell section on the forum. Good luck!

  • Go to craigslist and search for your city and then drill down to find your relevant category and set up an ad.
