What is free running salt? Is it iodized or can it be used for table salt?

I accidentally purchased free running salt at the store and thought I grabbed the iodized salt. Needlessly to say, I don’t want it going to waste, but don’t want to use it if it’s not safe to use as a table salt.

IT’s finer cut salt is all.

All it is is that it’s had anti caking agent added to it like the iodised salt. The only difference with iodised salt is that it doesn’t have iodine in it.

That means it will not clog up in the salt shaker.
