What is the going rate for a babysitter to watch a 10 monther and a 3 1/2 year old?

It depends on where you live. In SF and New York, my friends pay their babysitters anywhere from $10-15 an hour. I’m sure it’s less in other areas.

I was babysitting up until a couple years ago, and I was getting piad 5 dollars an hour for 3 children aged 2-6. I’d say the pay now is about 6-7$ an hour.
