  • My best memory when it was very hot was spending a lot of time in my backyard pool. I wish I had one now. I really miss it.

I also fondly remember sleeping in my baby doll pajamas with no covers, having a fan in the window, and my father leaving the front and back doors open to get more of a breeze in the house. He just locked the flimsy screen doors that we had, but we didn’t worry about anyone breaking in. It was really cool if I woke up really early. Looking out the screen doors, I saw our neighborhood in a whole different light. It was super quiet and still. You could only hear the birds. It was cool.

  • Hot weather makes me feel like crap. I do not deal well with the heat. I live in the top floor of an apartment building with a flat roof. I am facing the south side of the building, so I get the sun all day. Also the building is made of brick, so you can just imagine how hot it gets up here. If it is 95 outside, it is over 100 in here. I have fans going all of the time. I like winter better. You can always put more clothes on if you are cold, but if you are hot, you can’t take them all off. As far as my best memory of over 95 degrees, is Summer Fest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Just a blast. Lot of singers and fun things to do. Hope where ever you are you have a great summer and try to enjoy the heat.

I am going to try to enjoy the rest of the summer, because where I am from, summers a short. I am from Michigan. Have fun in the sun!

  • It’s been a pretty miserable summer and unfortunately it will hang around for a while longer where I live. Having a black dog in this climate who’s not acclimated to the heat/humidity can be a little bit difficult. lol I mean we went from so-so weather – warmer days but still crisp mornings and evenings – to being smacked in the face with stark sun, drowning humidity, and 90+ degree weather with a heat index of 100+ daily without relief. Erg. My favorite summertime memories with my dog are the swims in the creek. It’s got a gentle but strong current and pools up along the way making pretty large swim holes. Love to get in there with the lab an paddle around, wrestle, fetch the sqeaky ball off the rocks, etc. Especially after a walk on the dirt path under the full canopy of trees. And he’ll sleep for 2 days after a day at the creek.

  • My exaust fan on my AC went out 2 days ago and it is like a 100 degrees in the house, with all the windows open and the fans a going. This day will not be one of the best memories when it was over 95 degrees, I can tell you that.

  • It is usually over 95 here, especially if you factor in the heat index. I really don’t know what my best memory is when it is over 95 degrees because it happens so often. But I love spending time at the pool. It seems to just go hand in hand with hot weather.

  • I live in Arizona where it can get up to 130 degrees in the summer. My best memory would probably be in Hawaii when I visited, and it was like 100 degrees and I didn’t want to get wet, but I fell in the ocean when my feet were touching it. It was pretty funny. Hot weather gets me tan, and makes me ((uck)) sweat. I hate hot weather, but you do get used to it. 90 degrees is a bit cold for me now, even though some people die in it. I guess it depends if its humid or not. When I went to Jamaica it was only like 70 degrees with like 2000 degree humidity haha. So if its over 95 but a dry heat, its not too bad. If its over 95 degrees with a humid heat, then its horrible. Especially when your flights delayed in Jamaica at a airport with no air conditioning. xD. Haha. Stay cool. :).

  • Um, hot weather makes me sweaty and hot.

But my best memory of >95 degrees would be a football game.

The place was Kyle Field in Aggie Land, the temperature was 110, in the 3rd deck at least, it was said to be 120+ on the field. The Aggies were playing the Fresno State Bulldogs. The game went into triple overtime, with the Aggies taking the win! Immediately after the winning score, it began to rain. It was sweet, sweet victory.

  • What hot weather does to me? It makes me sweaty, irritable, angry, dizzy, and sometimes, I get a headache. I feel better when I splash around in a nice, cool pool!

One of my best memories in the hot weather was when I attended classes at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in the middle of the summer. I like the campus.
