Sweetie, there’s a difference in sales and marketing. Sales is one function in Marketing.
I assume it’s sales:
The most typical question to a sales person is ‘how will you sell the product in question?’ So do some background check about the production and it’s competitors before you appear in an interview. Also visit a shop (if the product is a consumer item) and see how the OTC salesperson is trying to convince you. Come up with better thoughts.
Remember, never make price a point to convince a prospect, just observer and read out from his talking what would s/he like to listen about the product or what would in fact be most beneficial in that particulars circumstances.
