  • It works for some people…my stepsister met her husband on jdate and my best bud met his wife on eHarmony. I think that it’s unfortunate that we, as a society, are so good at finding shortcuts. I think it’s more fun/educational to try the dating thing in person. Harder, yes, but you get more out of it.

  • At first i don’t believe you could find love through the net, i mean its impossible cause you don’t know the person at the other end. They could be perverts! But now i think its up to you and i think internet dating is ok. I met my current boyfriend on the internet and we’ve been hitting it off 4 nearly 5 months. Its up to you really…

  • well, at first i thought it was stupid and wrong, and what if the person you spend hours talking to is a creepy 70 year old man or woman.

untill i gave it a go, and met my boyfriend, there where pics of him and his cousin and his friends and cars, but when he asked me for my number i was a little scared to give it to him, but i trusted my instincts and gave it to him, he picked me up the next night and we went out for drinks, and now i’m so happy i changed my opinion on internet dating otherwise i would never have met him.

i mean yes it does take the fun and hard work out of looking for ‘the one’ but it also eliminates the possibility of awkwardness, which is a good thing.

  • I think its possible to find someone you really like online. However, there’s no such thing as ‘ love at first sight’ online. I mean, duh right. Also, its very important to be super cautious when you meet someone online and you really take your time before decided if you like them or not. There’s this couple on flickr – Aaron and Rosie. They met on flickr quiet a few years ago and their relationship is just blossoming. I just think that people condemn it too fast. Every coin has two sides, you know? Its definitely possible.

  • I think it’s fine to look for local people online, though I wouldn’t get into a relationship until I actually met them in person.

  • works for me
