Well too hard to use knocks out Adobe Premiere. Maybe Premiere Elements would be easier?
Magix Studio is a very affordable( can get previous version on Amazon for next to nothing, like $ shipped) and it is fairly fully functioned, super easy to use, and lots of built in effects and such. I use it frequently for my quick edits.
