Whats the biggest rim and wheel size for a 2006 chevy impala ls?

i have 225/60r16 on the car at the moment i was wondering whats the biggest tire and wheel size for this car? ive seen many cars with 25+ rim sizes but i dont want exaggeration. ive seen 22inch on this kind of car and they look decent and i guess thats the highest ive found online so far. if thats the case what would the tire size be?

  • rims – 22″
tires 245/30/R22 for front and rear
  • you could go with some 205/30/22 they wouldn’t mess up your tranny, suspension, computer, or tune too much. No rub, tear, nothing. It’s the cheapest way cause otherwise you’d have to have it tuned. the computer would need the shift points changed to compensate, suspension might need to be lifted. but in this case it’s just barely larger like by .1mph. which isn’t a big difference at all. so all you need are tires and rims. also, it’s better on handling, shocks, etc. pretty much all around

if you don’t want 22s you can go with 215/40/20 or 190/25/24. i mean the 24s would be a tight fit, but i’m pretty sure it’s not that big a difference. now I don’t own a 26 impala ls, but i think they’d still be able to fit.
