  • Learn gymnastics.

  • I’d need a video to see. But generally people aren’t pushing with their hands. Either that or you’re kicking in the wrong direction. You don’t want to kick straight up because you’d have no force turning you over. And likewise, you don’t want to slam your feet into the ground so spinning too much can be a problem as well.

  • Get your hips more forward too. It’s more than just throwing up the legs and then folding them under. Can’t really see what you are doing but this would be my guess as it is a common mistake.

  • Take a video of you doing it.

  • Work on your core for more balance…? You never told us the details.
