When does my drivers permit start?

I wanna know when does my 6 months start? me having my permit for 6 months ends in August. Do my 6 months start when i take my first driving test or when i receive my permit? I’m 16 and live in California

    Your permit is valid starting from the date you received it. If you accumulated the necessary driving hours and took 6 hours of professional training, you can go for your driving test in August.

  • In u.a.e you have to be 18 years to get license.
    Ethiopia it is 17.
    u.s it is 14-16.(varies from state)
    India for motor vehicles without gear – 16 and with gear and rest – 18 commercial vehicles – 20

    you can only take license only after 2 years means 18

  • it starts from the date stamped on the permit. if it ends in august it started in february.
