I am in love with these skirts but I can’t find any that are so full on their own. Does anyone know where I could find one or how I could make one? Or even what the style is called? Thanks a lot!

  • This is a circle skirt 🙂 Very common in the ’50’s (though longer) if you lay them down and spread them out on the floor, they make a perfect circle.

    Simplicity has a great pattern for one in the length you’re looking for. If you check out Joann Fabric for sales, you can usually get the pattern for around $1.99.

  • The style of it looks exactly like the skirts they wore in the 50’s called ‘full skirts’.
    There are similar styles called ‘Flared skirts’ and ‘Circle skirts’
    You can find them on ebay for cheap prices. 🙂
