Where is Mexico?

Mexico is in north America.

The United Mexican States or simply Mexico is a country located in North America, bounded on the north by the United States; on the south and west by the North Pacific Ocean; on the southeast by Guatemala, Belize, and the Caribbean Sea; and on the east by the Gulf of Mexico.The United Mexican States comprise a constitutional republican federation of thirty-one states and a federal district, Mexico City, one of the most populous cities on Earth.

Covering almost 2 million square kilometers, Mexico is the 5th largest country in the Americas by total area and 14th largest in the world. With a population of about 108 million, it is the 11th most populous country and the most populous Spanish-speaking country in the world.

As the only Latin American member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) since 1994, Mexico is firmly established as an upper middle-income country. Elections held in July 20 marked the first time that an opposition party won the presidency to the Institutional Revolutionary Party that held it since 1929, culminating a process of political alternation that had begun at the local level since the 1980s.

North America

North America.

A little bit of a matter of opinion rather than anything else I think.

If you are looking at continentally it is North America (or just America depending on the definition of the continents you use). In this case then everything north of Panama is North America and the rest in the South.

It is though more akin to the central and southern american states culturally adn linguistically. So I think you could certainly say central america as well.

But as it is a geographical question it has to be North America for me.

North America. There is a clear distinction between North, Central, and South America. North America is comprised of three countries: Canada to the north, the USA in the central region, and Mexico to the south.

Mexico is in NORTH AMERICA along with USA and Canada.

Central America is consisted of Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.

South America is consisted of Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, and Chile.

But if you will classify it generally as just NORTH and SOUTH, Central America belongs to the NORTH. So, as a continent, North America is USA, Canada, Central America and MEXICO.

North America, just below the conterminous United States.As a continent,Central America is part of North America.Latin America which comprises Central and South Americas and Mexico is rather a cultural than political division.

It is in between North America and Central America and runs against the US starting from the Gulf of Mexico all the way to California and it stretches down almost to Florida.

You see, the real answer is:

Mexico is in North America.

But it is also in Central America. Central America is just a group of spanish-speaking countries located in central North America. If you were asking what continent Mexico is in, the answer is North America. Central America is not a continent.
