Who is most important wife or mother?

Dear person…there should not be..and is no need for a Competition. The very premise of your question is not correct. No one needs to ever make a ‘choice’ There is equal room for both kind of relationships to work together in harmony…If you already view one of these relationships as more “important” to you than another ..you may well be already experiencing conflict.

Depends on the situation but I would honestly say you made your wife not your or her mother. You have made a commitment to your wife. You have to be there for her and her alone. If and when you can help your mother out but do not go out of your way. Both my husband and I did and it almost messed up our relationship.

Whose mother? Hers or yours? Wife is more important than her mother. YOUR mother is the most important person on the planet.

Both are equally important according to at least Bible and Torah, and regardless of what smart Alecks say about wives coming and going – but mother – forever. It is up to you to keep it balanced, or, at the least always “honor thy mother”… and “thy father”, by the way
