Why are humans so dumb ?

because people rely on the internet and multimedia without doing their own work as well as talking to other people. communication is decreasing and people are getting dumber. there is too much reliability on computers to do everyday tasks such as spelling, telling time on an analog clock, using maps, making change, etc that people don’t do it anymore. therefore, they can’t do it.

Because being dumb doesn’t prevent reproduction, so “dumbness” alleles persist in the population. In recent generations, actually, intelligent people are less likely to reproduce, so the average intelligence of our species is decreasing.
