Why are people so rude?are they that bad?

okay,so I was looking at answers to a question saying why people hate jocks.most said cuz they are the dumb stereotype.they also say they are douches that are completely self centered.I am a very athletically addicted person.(made that up lol)but I am not mean to people and try to help everyone as much as I can.and I also make straight A’s.there are some that are complete jerks,but people are badmouthing jocks when they aren’t listening to themselves!they are being rude to the friendly people out there who are jocks.I have tons of friends!I used to get bullied,but I moved schools and made new friends and wasn’t bullied ever again.I just want to let you know are lives aren’t perfect either.are they really that bad though?
