The only extreme thing John Cena done was divorcing his wife.
Out of the remaining roster (exuding Undertaker & HHH the part timers) he’s the only one left who has competed in TLC matches HIAC matches last man standing matches & I Quit matches and from a commentator’s perspective has won the majority of them.
That’s the reason. I don’t agree with that personally but commentators have a job to do and they’re making Cena look as marketable as possibly going into the Extreme Rules PPV.
Same could actually be said about Randy Orton but he isn’t main eventing the next PPV as the current WWE champion.
Besides if Ryback defeats Cena, what does that make the next break out star?
