joeblow i dont think DRS is being used in Pakistan/Slanka series at the moment thats why i pulled up the question cos it happened in that game to me it looked out and half the ball was inline anway but it was given not out

Fair point and I can’t give you a reason, the only thing I would say is that DRS could emphatically 1% prove if the ball had pitched on the stumps or not which would help the ump make a decision.
They can if the batsman is not offering a shot or if it is an Indian bowler playing without the DRS in place. It is just a rule of cricket.
Moorthy – We are all a bit biased to one team or another and you are no acception to this. A number of questions you have replied to lately where trolls are bad mouthing England claiming about vaseline on the ball etc you are joining them agreeing that England did this in England despite no evidence whatsoever existing of anything happening. India was just simply outplayed by the better side and were not able to adjust to the conditions as good as England did. Same thing in India so far only in reverse. India has played the better cricket so far and until the last match when a couple played well, England have not adjusted to the conditions which are a bit foreign to them. You don’t see the English members crying foul that India are cheating, they know they have just been outplayed so far and they also know they aren’t a great ODI side where as they are an excellent test side who will most likely bounce back strong in the test series.
I can find a lot of examples and evidence of my claims being accurate rather than a case of being biased against India. Australia lost the last test series in India because of Billy Bowden failing to give the most plumb LBW decision. Anyone who is not completely blind could have seen it should have been given out. Indian cricketers benefit far more from poor umpiring than any other team in world cricket, but even they have some go against them as well. That is the sole reason the Bullying Corrupt Corporate Indian’s (BCCI) are objecting to the DRS. They use the excuse of Hawkeye not being totally accurate, but most people know that this is just being used as a distraction to divert the attention away from the actual truthful reason. If the DRS came in, the dodgy stuff the BCCI do and also the dodgy stuff what some corrupted Pakistan players have done of late would all be exposed to the world more than it has already.
The natural angle would take the ball away from the stumps.
