He had fairly good in ring ability and he seemed to make both gimmicks work as good as anyone else could of done.I mean with Johnny B Badd he had to get over a Little Richard look a like gimmick (which I always liked his intro music).he kn ocked out everyone when he first arived.and then latter he had a very cool top rope sunset flip,top rope frankenstiener.He feuded with the likes or Bryan Pillman,Sting,Barry Windham,and many of the top guys in WCW.
Then about 3 or 4 years latter he became Marc Mero in WWF and he still very good.He became a IC title holder which during that tie it still meant something.Had a very nice looking valet(Sable).He went from feuding with Triple H,Mr. Perfect kind of,Golddust,Mick Foley,and many other guys that was either already over or was getting over at the time.
I think the problem came because he was like a few others right in the middle of the transition from 80’s Glam wrestling with their over the top characters and the Attitude era.
