  • it’s a hunting defence.
    have you ever noticed a deer/rabbit/sheep etc twitch their ears? it’s to get a better scope of sound, even if it just for a matter of seconds.
    humans used to have this but evolution has meant that it is dying out, hence why some people can do it and others can’t.
