Why do I like this shampoo so much?

So yesterday I used Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo (formulated for hair with split ends) and I fell in love. Idk if my hair has split ends or not but I have somewhat thick, naturally curly hair and I loved how easily it was for me to run my fingers through my hair without ripping or tugging at it. I only had I think maybe five strands of hair wrapped around my fingers instead of like . It was also really easy to wash out, my hair just felt very clean, soft (more than usual but not too soft that I couldn’t style it) and it smelled great. I had the easiest time detangling my hair with my comb and putting it up in a ponytail. Normally when I try to slick my hair back (even after its all detangled it will try to create a knot in the back of my head). But when I used this shampoo it didnt. Now today I used Tresemme Normal All Hair Types Shampoo and I didn’t like it. My hair didn’t feel as soft, it was hard to detangle, and it didn’t smell pretty like the other one. I mean my hair didn’t smell gross but it didn’t has a nice scent either. The only problem is that Tresemme tests on animals. Can someone help me figure out what it is about the ingrediants in this shampoo that I like? Maybe I can find a cruelty-free version. Here is a list of the ingrediants:Water (Aqua) , Sodium Laureth Sulfate , Cocamidopropyl Betaine , Glycol Diistearate , Hydrolyzed Keratin , Panthenol , Tocopheryl Acetate , Ascorbic Acid , Niacinamide , Biotin , Cocoamide MEA , Sodium Chloride (.%) , Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride , Polyquaternium , Disodium EDTA , PVM/MA Copolymer , Polysorbate , Polyquaternium , DMDM Hydantoin , Fragrance
