I have 20mb Virgin Broadband and it keeps disconnected and the only only to fix the problem tempereally is to restart the router. This only happens when I am downloading. It it not the wireless card as I have checked other devices and the router is a netgear provided by virgin just less then a year ago. Any help would be great.

ISP provide caps so all users have fair use. This disconnection may be that, or something faulty. Also if it is not connected first into the phone line using the phone can disconnect.
Contact virgin media.
Do you have a password on your wifi? What surfer? IE/firefox? I’d advise firefox, but don’t update too often as it has as much bugs as IE, when a new version comes out.
