  • Man is destined to grow as a species and to grow we must learn. I believe this is a divine need in man to lear all he can. I feel this a reason many of our most brilliant sientist have been spiritual. Not all where Christians or believed in a personal god but they believed in something beyond man and this something I believe pushes our need to research, thus study all we can access in nature. I believe the knowledge we acquire may save us some day from mass extinction. As long as we don’t kill ourselves with this knowledge first we may be the only species that is capable of diverting or surviving a mass extinction episode. over 90% of earth species have not passes this test…now if they’d done their reaserch?…hey who knows

  • Without research we would still live in the trees.

  • Because without “research” we wouldn’t be where we are. This question is way way too broad.
