  • Yorkers are risky deliveries because the margin of error is too slim to be able to consistently get it going…. when the yorker fails, it becomes a full-toss or half-volley delivery which is so easy to be sent beyond the boundary. If there is no swing, the yorker at best can be a dot ball, but it can go for a six with the slightest error in length.

  • not every one can ball yorkers

yorkers means hitting the base of the stump

if little high its a fultoss easy hitting

if little low its a full lenght delivery again easy hitting

most of the indian bowlers are medium pacers

n its risky to ball yorkers with slow ball

  • from ind’s point of view: they are medium pace bowlers, if they miss they will get slammed, more over slow full toss by them can be picked if the batsmen come forward.

from eng’s point of view: their bowling and fielding has bee ordinary, they lack confidence, or they are to over confident with the win at their home.

  • Take a ball and try hitting a stone 20 meters away. You would reaally conclude to your answer.

  • Shows bowlers inability to control the ball. They play(bowl) safe.
