So I finally did my first computer build and ordered all the parts seperately then payed $ to microcenter to have them build it and decided i would try to install the OS myself. My specs are
Intel core i k
i have gbs of corsaire vengeance ram
tb hard drive
geforce gtx
watt power supply
and a asus pzv motherboard
So they finished and i bought an asus dual band internet adapter and plugged it in and finally installed the os but now the computer is running slower than a snail and only has bars in internet access and i dont know what i did wrong. It is taking forever to download anything and i just need some advice. Thanks to anyone who helps

internet/network speed are not related to PC speeds.
your wireless adapter is the problem.
either the signal is too weak ( bars is needed for a good connection) or the adapter sucks
its also possible your internet provider sucks.
I prefer Cable over DSL for this reason
Your PC Specifications have nothing to do with your Internet Speed, call your Internet Service Provider and tell them the problem. Switching the Router off and waiting seconds and turning it back on is a good way to “refresh” the router, kinda boosts up the internet.

Use TCP/IP optimiser that will solve your problem.
You have not mentioned that whether your lan connection setting is manual or automatic. By the way, Go to your adapter setting and first disable and then enable it. Windows will search best setting. If the signal problem continues then You have to set you LAn connection manually I mean IP address of your system and DNS server should be entered manually. This may vary every place so I cant tell you exact manual setting, You can better ask internet service provider for best LAN setting.
well its probably your internet connection and not the computer did you install a bit?
