Why would an employer continue to keep…?

Where I work we have a Marketing Department. The Director is responsible to bring in a whole lot of patients to the Hospital. Currently our census is very low and she is bringing an average of 1-2 a week which as big as we are should be getting 3-4 or more a day. We are a Specialty Hospital. I would also wanna add that she is about 7 months new and is EXTREMELY rude to other employees and I have heard she tends to be rude out in the field. People have complained on her as well. I am curious to know what people think of our CEO keeping her board and not bringing in different Marketer. I mean it’s so obvious she is not bringing in patients like she came in saying she would to everyone.

Update:

wow to the first answer I feel that’s what she’s gonna do to us. I mean she is rude to EVERYONE and not bringing in any patients, why does the CEO keep her. All he has to do is tell HR and she’s gone. None of us understand.

Update 2:

she is not my director, she is a director of a department in the hospital and she has been complained on by many people. The CEO is her boss and keeps her.

  • sounds like she is picking the clients that meet her standards i’ve worked in a place with an adm. like that she bankrupted the place

  • the clients attitudes are different from you employees.

clients can get good services are their aim , they don’t care what the CEO be so rude to others. But you, employees , care your CEO. As that your director be so rude that may obviously influence ur working mood and pass on to the working efficiency.

If you don’t tell HR, no one will help you, please do it by yourself
