Ok….so me and my girl broke up about a month or so ago. she is a senior in high school and she said she wanted to become her own person. we were together for a year and a half. she told me that she’ll always love me and maybe we have a future together. I am a sophmore in college. Last year when i was at school we stayed together and she would come visit alot.
one of her friends told me that after a couple weeks she had trouble coping with the breakup and was going out alot. wouldnt that catch up to her? but anyways… that same friend talked to her saturday and my ex told her that it was “wierd” that we havent talked much since the breakup(i texted her two weeks after and then two weeks after and havent texted her since). She also went on to say that she saw girls writing on my fb wall and she knows that other girls want me…she then told my friend that she doesnt want a boyfriend for a couple years.
Do you guys think that she’ll come back and realize she made a mistake? Do you guys think that the couple years thing is bull**** and she just needs time?
I also forgot to mention im home this year at a community college…so shes right next to me

Yes she will come back ,but only after she have been married 2kids and divorced……..give it about 5years..will you still be waiting?if you love her you will…….just saying !!
i know this sucks because we have all been there and it seems like its the worse thing in the whole world, but if she wanted to be with u she would and the longer u dwell on her the longer youll be apart, the best chance you have of getting back together is when you can accept it and move on and she sees that and then MAYBE shell reget it, but if she knows she has u eating out of her hand and loving it she will keep you waiting..move on darlin
i know breaking up sucks, but i really think that she just told you maybe some other time to make you feel better. i dont know becasue i wasent there but honestly your in college, dating girls in high school comes with high school drama and no one wants that. i would go out and find a girl that you go to school with now, maybe one that grew up a little. good luck

sounds like she doesn’t want to burn the bridges but wants her freedom at the same time. sometimes people do get back together and sometimes not.
